“Bären am Bundesplatz's Bern base”
Hotel Bären am Bundesplatz is a super clean hotel beside the Bundesplatz twenty meters away — modern cozy rooms, a varied breakfast buffet, a handy washer-dryer, a gifted checkout chocolate, and friendly helpful desk staff who opened a private top-floor room early for one arrival. Caveats though: smaller rooms and limited amenities versus Montreux or Zermatt, a bit-small shower, and early-morning construction and car noise in street-facing rooms.
