Hotel Posa Posa is a charming family-owned Positano hotel — central yet away from the bustle with buses at the door, clean comfortable ocean-and-mountain-view rooms, elegant lobby decor, a great restaurant with an even better terrace, a complimentary breakfast with an incredible view, paid parking opposite, an outdoor plunge pool, and fantastic staff (Maria and Giulio praised) who knew guests by day one and coordinated taxis and private cars; early check-in was granted. The complaints: the building is dated — a Positano-wide issue; reaching rooms takes two lifts plus three flights; the bathroom had a slight smell; pool towels require a trip to the front desk; and the Mirage restaurant runs extremely slow.
