“The Berkman's Mayo perch”
The Berkman is a beautiful self-sustained property directly across from St Mary's Mayo with a shuttle — excellent kitchen and laundry setups, fresh coffee beans, lovely common areas, the Red Cow and Canadian Honker next door, and great staff who put a visiting spouse at ease. Caveats though: carpet hair needed self-cleaning once, parking was not included despite the rate, one terrible bed sent a guest to pain medication, and rooms ran basic — one nightstand, no dining table, a dead bath vent, awkward TV chairs, no streaming and limited thermostat control.
