Right beside the river in District 1 about ten kilometres from the airport with the scenery spots and restaurants in easy reach, Liberty Central Saigon Riverside Hotel is a business traveller's top choice: a superb location, spacious clean rooms, super friendly helpful front-desk staff across check-in and out, a great view, a neat basic pool and gym, and good value for the area near the Hilton. Two complaints though: a deposit was required which one guest disliked, housekeeping ran sloppy beyond a decent breakfast, and a football crowd's street speakers blared until 4am ruining a pre-flight night.
