Spire West Hotel is a young (about eighteen months), renovated Giza hotel — modern comfortable clean rooms, several with a clear pyramid view, a beautiful rooftop multinational restaurant overlooking the pyramids, a generous American breakfast with excellent fresh juices, and exceptionally warm hospitality: the desk allowed an early check-in plus a room-type change to save an afternoon itinerary, and an elderly attendant guides guests to the lift. Notes: the building and elevator are old and slightly scary, the area is not quiet, and taxis are the easy way around.
