“Malie House's leafy Utrecht boutique”
Malie House is a wonderful, cosy boutique hotel in a quiet leafy part of Utrecht — pretty well-designed rooms and communal areas, big rooms with very comfortable beds, bike rentals for local-style exploring, friendly helpful staff, and a walkable spot near the Dom and station (a twenty-minute stroll). The complaints: a tiny breakfast not worth its twenty-euro supplement; no TV, music or hairdryer; a strange setup — a clogged shower on arrival was fixed fast but left dirty water in the shower and room, the glassed shower had no door for privacy, and the small toilet room lacked a sink.
