“Spark Montreal Midtown's clean value”

Spark by Hilton Montreal Midtown is a very clean, new-feeling Montreal hotel — a great convenient location near the subway and downtown, spacious quiet rooms (the horizontal two-floor layout can put rooms far from the two lifts), comfortable beds, free secure indoor parking that's a real asset in Montreal, simple-but-stocked breakfast, and friendly efficient staff who stored bags when early check-in wasn't possible. The complaints: the breakfast is too thin — mostly bagels plus boiled eggs and juice, no cured meat or cheese; and basically no service — no slippers or toiletries, unlike the same brand in New York, which felt poor value.

Rooms: Spacious, quiet and clean guest rooms here.
Service: Kind staff; a thin amenities approach though.
Location: Near the subway with downtown access easy.
Food: A thin bagel and egg breakfast daily.
Facilities: Free secure indoor parking for guests.
Value: A decent Montreal value for most stays.
