“Passeig de Gràcia staple, renovation note”
Catalonia Passeig de Gràcia claims one of Barcelona's best locations — central to tourist spots, restaurants, cafés and shops, steps from the airport bus and metro — with clean, quiet, well-maintained rooms tidied daily, a relaxing pool area and kind staff, including a praised bar man. Early check-in was granted and a requested king bed was held. Two caveats: rooms run somewhat small, and exterior renovation work left one guest's balcony unusable — a minor concern in an otherwise great stay.
