“Kirkwood Center's pre-flight stay”
The Hotel at Kirkwood Center is a convenient Cedar Rapids stay — clean nicely-decorated rooms with super comfy beds, easy parking, a great onsite bar and restaurant with happy hour and hors d'oeuvres (handy given the isolated spot, though a shuttle covers anywhere in the city including the airport), proximity to the Iowa Equestrian Center, and friendly staff. One guest though endured an awful AC unit — the sold-out hotel had no alternative room to offer.
