“Stylish Hurghada beachfront, front-desk woes”
Serry Beach Resort is a minimalist-chic Hurghada all-inclusive with a private beach, two pools, balcony rooms, a refillable free minibar, good juices and cocktails, and food one guest called their Egypt best — though the buffet dinner is poor value and breakfast misses Chinese palates (a great Chinese restaurant sits five minutes away). The desk repeatedly disappoints: room-type switches and a ground-floor sea-view at arrival settled by merging suites after two hours, an arrogant room manager, a slippers runaround, a checkout scolding, surprise child charges, and broken-basin rooms with no bedside charging or soundproofing.
