Delfines Hotel & Convention Center is a renovated older hotel in safe San Isidro — clean huge rooms that swallowed four suitcases, daily housekeeping, a golf-course view, a rich many-choice breakfast with a daily-return omelette, a surprising gym, pool and sauna, friendly desk staff, nearby shopping, and better value than the DoubleTree for one guest. One caveat: lighting ran dim in rooms and corridors even with all lights on.
