“Confluence's riverside Hastings”
The Confluence Hotel is a beautifully-renovated historic Hastings property right on the Mississippi — clean fresh pretty-much-soundproof fantastic rooms, a good onsite restaurant and riverside patio, a great breakfast worth a small wait, preserved-building history, walking-distance parks, bars and eateries, and friendly staff; wedding guests found the ballroom attractive and organized. Two notes: no pool or hot tub, and the breakfast is good rather than five-star — plus an oversized club chair and hard ceremony chairs irked smaller guests.
