Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel is a fun clean Newport boutique — cute decor, spacious bathrooms with great pressure and Kiehl's products, comfortable beds for most, beach bags, towels, coolers, a steamer, rooftop sundecks, a café and free cruiser bikes for the beach path. Honest cautions: ocean-view rooms connect to neighbors with very poor sound insulation and the 'view' is distant and partly blocked by homes, housekeeping once skipped a room entirely, and one guest found the beds uncomfortable.
