“Hotel Roanoke's charm”
The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is a grand amazing historical stay — perfectly located a short walkway from the charming historical district with a bustling lobby (Miss Virginia pageant contestants during one stay), well-maintained beautiful grounds projecting old-world charm, clean comfortable rooms from small-and-cozy to a spacious suite with an absolutely-divine bed, a great bar, a relaxing pool, attentive helpful welcoming professional staff, and a perfect view of the Mill Mountain star — worth the extra ten for valet or expect lots of walking. Caveats though: an elevator issue did occur, though management addressed it and even offered a free future night.
