In central Colombo, Ramada by Wyndham Colombo is a convenient low-cost vacation stay for many: a good central location, good food, very friendly staff everywhere and an absolutely outstanding breakfast — pancakes recommended — plus a resident cat that does crowd control. Dissents though: a severe one-star report, someone's dirty socks left in the cabinet with no room change, an elevator anyone could enter without a card and night-time DJ and drumming noise that drove a fought-for next-night cancellation, plus a booked king delivered as two very small singles.
