“Montgomery Residence's new build”

Residence Inn by Marriott Montgomery Downtown is a brand-new hotel a block from the Legacy Museum and a short walk to downtown — spacious well-equipped spotless rooms, a very nice breakfast, and accommodating friendly staff. Caveats though: severe notes describe a bad-smelling insufficiently-clean room, a rough surrounding area, a property not where maps showed it, a ten-minute check-in wait while payment details were hunted, and undisclosed parking and pet fees (the latter waived after argument).

Rooms: Spacious rooms; a smell dissent though.
Service: Friendly; a check in saga though.
Location: Near the museum; a rough block.
Food: A very nice breakfast here on each stay.
Facilities: An undisclosed parking fee was noted though.
Value: Excellent stays; hidden fees were noted though.
Cleanliness: Spotless for most; a dissent though.
