“Berkeley campus door”
Across the street from the Berkeley campus a few minutes on foot, Residence Inn by Marriott Berkeley is a family-trip best and one of the best-value stays around: clean tidy rooms with a kitchen, microwave and basic utensils for simple cooking, a spacious living room with sofa bed and lit dining table, a good included breakfast, attentive service, convenient transport with BART near and easy Ubers, walkable restaurants including Chinese food and a supermarket a minute away. Notes: windows don't open so the AC handles ventilation, and the AC runs a little loud.
