Regent Taipei is an amazing one-of-the-best stay — a centrally-located gorgeous hotel with a massive shopping arcade, nostalgic tasteful seventies-eighties-styled rooms carrying all modern amenities, very good phone service, a delightful Japanese restaurant where the sukiyaki was delicious throughout with immaculate service, welcoming staff who handled everything perfectly and thought about every detail, and great food all round; very highly recommended for Taipei.
