“Riviera Maya giant, seaweed woes”
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya is a huge all-inclusive with many complimentary restaurants, daily-cleaned rooms, very secure facilities, lots of pools and food, and an amazing entertainment crew (Roberto keeps things fun). Returning guests notice decline: really dated rooms, mediocre food, downhill service, a waterpark shut within hours, unexpected restaurant closures, hawk-deterrent birds (one hit a guest), and a seaweed-covered stinking shoreline that's the region's curse; a wrong room was fixed cheerfully.
