“New Noord hotel, two stops from Central”
Tribe Amsterdam City impresses as a new, trendy hotel right beside Noord station — about two stops or ten to fifteen minutes from Centraal — with a bus interchange plus shops and eateries close by and a supermarket downstairs. Rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean with funky pop-art decor and comfy beds, staff are kind and helpful with birthday decorations and cards arranged, and check-in is easy. Two design gripes recur: there is no wardrobe, just a hanging rail, and the bed and bathroom mirror sit too high for many guests.
