Across the road from Kuta beach where beginner-friendly surf rolls in, Tribe Bali Kuta Beach earned an eight-day excellent-everything verdict: a delicious breakfast rated the best buffet of five hotels on one trip, a small rooftop pool with wonderful sea views and sunset photos, welcome rooftop-bar drink vouchers, great service quality with desk taxi help and luggage carried up, quite new rooms and handy 220V outlets. One nit: ground-floor rooms feel noisier with thinner walls.
