“Royal Mile apartment stay”
At the Holyrood end of the Royal Mile — Waverley station and Calton Hill about ten-plus minutes, Arthur's Seat and the palace a short walk, the old town easy — Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh Royal Mile is a great enjoyed stay: a clean comfortable quite spacious room, friendly helpful well-regulated service and a kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Cautions though: polyester bedding at the rate, an uneven bed that nearly tipped a sleeper out, a broken showerhead that was repaired on request, a still-slow basin drain after attention, no in-room phone, calls go by personal mobile, and no mid-stay cleaning per house rules.
