“Novotel Xiamen's play”
Novotel Xiamen Downtown is a great very clean stay — a comfortable modern business hotel in a Siming-district commercial complex, about fifteen minutes' drive from Gulangyu, with clear signage to a dedicated hotel car park, a fifth-floor check-in, restaurants downstairs and a metro station nearby, spacious quiet rooms, a non-smoking request honored, and standout family recreation — a pool, ping pong, billiards, VR games and board games that made kids want to stay in, plus a self-service laundry; good value and kind service. Caveats though: the restaurant's variety is rich but the taste only average, and a ceiling water stain marked one mountain-view room.
