“Houston Tru's convention perch”
Tru by Hilton Houston Downtown Convention Center is a nice quiet basic-styled hotel — a clean property with a loved view, a nice lobby and bar, a tasty breakfast, a walkable spot by the convention center and Fanfest, and friendly helpful desk and bar staff; World Cup guests found it very convenient. Caveats though: a three-night stay saw no room cleaning or towel exchange at all despite every-other-day housekeeping being described.
