“Crillon's split Paris verdict”
Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel is a superb comfortable stay for many — a superb location, a comfortable room, a delicious breakfast, yummy Nonos dining, great butler service, and staff who took care of every need; one guest will return next year. Caveats though: a severe dissent found the room small, old and cramped — cracked bathroom marble, poor plugs and facilities, average bedding and worn decor — arguing the Peninsula offers bigger better-kept rooms at the same level, while another guest discovered a blood stain on a pillow late at night and only got it swapped.
