“Montaza's split verdict”
Rixos Montaza Alexandria is a beautiful wonderful stay for most — gorgeous premises on historic grounds in one of Alexandria's best areas, an amazing getaway location by the beach, super clean chalets kept by Ibrahim and Mohamed, and a fully-supportive incredibly-helpful friendly team from cleaners on up. Caveats though: a dissenting guest felt the rooms and service did not justify the spend — subpar bungalow bathrooms, middling food and an underwhelming beach.
