“Seaside arts tower”
Right by the sea with marina and ocean views and a beautiful pool, Hotel Arts Barcelona draws excellent marks for spacious rooms, tasty room-service dining, a free upgrade to a newly-renovated sea-view suite when a room wasn't ready, and kind escorting staff across reception, dining and housekeeping. A serious counterpoint though: one guest found it below Ritz-Carlton standard with no welcome or turndown gifts, a disappointing side sea view, slow housekeeping that started five hours late, and a desk that refused a 2pm checkout then hung up mid-request.
