“Central Park's split”
The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park is a super positive stay for most — an excellent location right across from the park, excellent service and location praised in several languages, and one happy guest calling everything perfect — better than the Plaza. Caveats though: a yearly loyalist reported their worst visit — the room stayed cold with the AC maxed, the quilt arrived dirty and its replacement was so thin they woke freezing at night, service had declined, and they moved to the Mandarin Oriental.
