“Scandic Vulkan's bright base”
Scandic Vulkan is a very nice chain-consistent Oslo hotel — tidy spacious bright rooms with a work desk and roomy bath, an amazing breakfast buffet with salmon, brown cheese, and yogurt, a location near the pedestrian street, palace, and city hall, and friendly staff who offered touring suggestions. Caveats though: the curtains do not properly darken the room, which made sleeping difficult for one guest.
