“Sheraton Kagoshima's volcano”
Sheraton Kagoshima is an amazing very good stay — fantastic direct Sakurajima views from rooms (an eleventh-floor corner upgrade was lucky), big rooms with premium fittings, an incredibly-clean natural hot spring, three very good restaurants, a rich fourth-floor breakfast and a tasty buffet dinner that seemed discounted for guests, a half-hourly shuttle to the central station opposite a huge supermarket and drugstore, the pretty Takebashi bridge view next door, and a responsible front desk.
