Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is a great very comfortable stay — a superb convenient location opposite Hyde Park with Westfield and malls beside, the Queen Victoria Building near the back door and the metro very close, about two kilometres' walk to the Opera House and a short hop to Chinatown, a clean spacious room with a big bathroom, a varied breakfast that even includes cooked noodles, and thoughtful service including a patient Chinese-speaking desk agent who solved problems. Caveats though: fittings are a little dated though well maintained, the cash deposit taken was higher than other guests reported, and breakfast repeats identically day to day.
