An absolutely-fantastic stay for many, The Level at Meliá Barcelona Sky offers valued-guest treatment from arrival to departure with named lounge stars praised, extremely attentive staff who emailed pre-trip advice, a lovely all-day lounge with drinks, evening snacks and tapas, very clean rooms, a private-feel pool escaping the city bustle and a very good breakfast. Dissents though: a not-really five-star verdict — no fresh-squeezed juice in Spain — a missing proper restaurant with many places nearby and a severe report of unauthorised bank-card use after the stay left unresolved by corporate service.
