Meliá Lisboa Aeroporto is a great airport hotel — five minutes' walk from the terminal with a free transfer, a bountiful delicious breakfast served from 4am for early flights (with a view), a clean cosy ambience, indoor and outdoor pools plus sauna and hammam, a great shower and bed, kind staff who provided a late-arrival meal, and a bath-room upgrade granted. One note: connecting rooms 229/227 had a sulphur-smelling shower drain.
