“Via Toledo guesthouse gem”
Altoledo Rooms and Suite is a small guesthouse-style stay on Via Toledo that guests say rewards looking past the building: the stairway and exterior are still run-down awaiting renovation, but the rooms inside are nearly new, modern, spacious and very clean, some with balconies and views. The director is praised by name — greeting guests personally, sharing local tips, sometimes with snacks and drinks — and staff give clear messaging-app instructions for after-hours arrival. A complimentary minibar and luggage storage add value, and the location puts sights, metro, shops and storied pizzerias within a short walk.
