“Pompeii's family stay”
A lovely friendly family-run spot, Costa Hotel is a fantastic would-stay-again pick: spotlessly clean rooms with comfy beds, a lovely breakfast, a bonus minibar, accommodating late arrivals, a resident dachshund highlight and exceptional couldn't-do-enough staff — two named for wayfinding help. The caution is location: forty minutes to Pompeii by bus or a carriageway walk, taxis from the airport run steep one-way, no ride-hail exists and little is close — drivers only, one guest says.
