Residence la Gancia is a great wonderful stay — in the middle of the historic quarter within easy reach of everything and right by the beach, a beautiful setting, spotless rooms with sparkling white high-quality linens and an extremely comfortable bed, a lovely rooftop terrace for drinks with stunning sunset views where the fantastic varied included breakfast is served, a great reception that booked Marco the taxi driver, and amazing super friendly efficient professional staff — they went out of their way when city street blocks stopped guests reaching the hotel. Caveats though: one dissent calls the property somewhat worn and tiring with a low-grade-feeling bed.
