In the CBD close to the Waterfront and nearby bars — in-building parking and a ground-floor restaurant — SunSquare Cape Town City Bowl is a clean hygienic great-value stay: a best-location room with a beautiful Table Mountain or Waterfront view, comfortable beds, a nice breakfast, a pretty rooftop bar with live music and, for one guest, impeccable unforgettable service. Serious complaints though: one stay found shocking service, a laundry struggle and a room not ready at two-thirty, breakfast read mediocre-to-tasteless despite variety, though views charmed an eleventh-floor suite.
