“Taj Malabar's split”
Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin is a fantastic chic stay — a very warm welcome, extremely helpful attentive staff throughout, top-class facilities exceeding expectations including yoga and the spa, an excellent varied breakfast, delicious fresh food at the Rice Boat restaurant where incredibly-attentive kind staff even comped items, and a highly-recommended feel guests look forward to repeating. Caveats though: housekeeping disappointed one stay — shower gel and tissues went unreplaced, the shower area clogged and stayed unfixed despite complaints, and tea pods were not replenished; rooms also run a little small for the category.
