“Taj Palace's split”
Taj Palace, New Delhi is a satisfying very good stay — a great quiet environment, an amazing location and service, good restaurants including an incredible train-car dining room, and a great gym-jacuzzi-steam-cold-bath combination with a busy breakfast eased by an alternate venue. Caveats though: the hotel feels dated — the exterior needs paint and the interior a facelift — and a Saturday arrival described a fish-market scene, nearly two hours to receive keys and another half-hour wait the next day.
