The Siam is an amazing fascinating Bangkok hotel — uniquely-styled rooms amid the owner's antique collection (a visual feast), an unlimited à-la-carte brunch-style breakfast, a nice boat service, easy ten-minute trips to sights and Iconsiam, and outstanding expert heartfelt staff. Caveats though: one guest found the food good-looking but bad-tasting for the rate, a room lacked lighting, and toilets are not spray-equipped.
