“Centrale's berna stay”
Opposite the central station — the M2 exit tens of metres Hotel Berna is an amazing must-try stay: a surprisingly-large quiet clean new-feel room with blackout curtains, pre-cooled AC, a free minibar and a pillow sweet, a 24-hour desk collecting keys, lobby coffee and snacks for hungry arrivals, a warm English-speaking host and a rich fresh breakfast with made-to-order latte art. A severe dissent though: old hardware key-entry doors, a splashing tap, tiny TV, unsealing curtains, steel-wool-scarred bathroom, dusty chair and window ledge, flies at the fruit section, a deafening old AC and hard-to-eat breakfast, not worth the rate.
