“Grandes Écoles' quaint Latin Quarter”
Hotel des Grandes Ecoles is a lovely, quaint French-cottage-style hotel in the Latin Quarter — a dormitory-conversion feel with a beautiful interior garden (and a resident cat), superb quiet positioning minutes from restaurants, cafes and bars, clean AC-equipped rooms, a friendly teenage-feel vibe, a nearby self-service laundry, helpful understanding reception, and the metro close by. Notes: the sloped street is tiring with roller bags, and breakfast is a set menu — mostly cold items plus hard baguette, with only one Asian-palatable option.
