Mitsui Garden Hotel Toyosu Premier / Tokyo is an excellent must-stay stay — a transport hub address with the metro downstairs, a direct Haneda airport bus, buses, a big mall with dining, the canal, pier, exhibition halls, canal park and quiet Tokyo Bay all close; spacious extremely clean well-soundproofed rooms with good views, a stunning lobby panorama, a tasteful thirty-sixth-floor spa and a nightly onsen soak with a superb thirty-fifth-floor view, ice machines and laundry on each floor, and very helpful excellent service; guests return every Tokyo trip. Caveats though: check the bathroom for drain smell — one of two rooms had a slight odor that running water eased.
