Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier is a fantastic high-value stay — opposite the Yokohama Museum and the Landmark tower with easy transport, a stunning unbeatable twentieth-floor reception view, rooms with distant Mount Fuji views — one stay even caught a morning rainbow — good-size rooms, a very good restaurant dinner, a rich breakfast where walk-ins were fine on weekdays despite the official time-slot system, luggage storage before an early flight, and friendly helpful staff; one guest preferred it over a Ginza follow-up. Caveats though: parking was not found.
