“Mitte's motel one”
Right beside an underground station — ideal for marathon start-and-finish travel — Motel One Berlin Mitte is a great wholeheartedly-recommended stay for many: a clean quite small comfortable room, fabulous super friendly efficient staff who helped at every turn, an awesome breakfast with amazing fresh-baked croissants and a central location. Cautions though: sketchy slum-like blocks a few turns the wrong way and a not-fully-comfortable surrounding area.
