Even Hotel Hangzhou West Lake by IHG is a light-luxury modern hotel — clean tidy rooms with soft bedding, yoga mats and foam rollers, a free first-round minibar, a never-disappointing breakfast, a walkable spot beside West Lake with local eats and bars, and kind patient staff: Robin gave excellent service, Ma Yingying handled an early arrival and luggage, and a concierge hunted a child's lost clothing. Caveats though: the entrance is hidden, parking is on B2, and no EV charger exists.
