“La Villa Calvi's split”
La Villa Calvi is a wonderful exceptionally-beautiful stay for many — immaculately-maintained hotel and grounds, spectacular views across Calvi and the coast, a peaceful atmosphere perfect for unwinding, a beautiful design, an upgrade to a suite with two sunny balconies, a very very comfortable bed, an excellent restaurant for food and service, and welcoming helpful staff; one night felt too short. Caveats though: a dissent found the facility adequate but let down by some staff — an abrupt unwelcoming elderly breakfast waiter, a nothing-special breakfast and a shuttle gripe — while another cites small bedroom windows, limited sea view and not-always-professional breakfast and dinner staff, calling it not a great Relais & Châteaux experience.
