Hôtel Particulier le Doge - Relais & Châteaux is a must-stay Casablanca stay — once the city's only boutique and still its best, a French-era residence where every room is different and the décor carries real soul, spacious rooms, a top-line bathroom, beds so comfortable you resist leaving them, a good very good rooftop restaurant, exceptional great staff, and a spot within walking distance of the main sights. Caveats though: one room had a shower drain problem, and a first-morning breakfast disappointed — poor service and half portions — before improving the next day.
