“La Nauve's Cognac gem”
La Nauve, Hôtel & Jardin - Relais & Châteaux is a hidden Cognac gem — an exquisitely-renovated old mansion with a unique contemporary fit-out, superb meticulously-kept gardens, a lovely pool, delicious food in the bistro and distillery restaurants, bike rides into town, and attentive efficient staff (Zeyna, Samuel and a personable waitress praised) who ranked it among Relais & Châteaux's best. Two notes: rooms run expensive for what they offer, and air-conditioning temperature is set hotel-wide — guests can't adjust it.
