“Marie Louise's elegance”
Le Castel Marie Louise is a thoroughly-enjoyable five-star stay — a very beautiful old building with stunning first-class architecture and luxury throughout, clean comfortable vintage rooms with an amazing sea view, a great garden, an excellent restaurant with really great food and wine, brilliant breakfast and dinner service, hotel bikes guests loved riding to Guérande and the salt flats, and very nice pleasant staff; impressive luxury for the rate on the beach. Caveats though: street parking in La Baule is challenging, and the hotel's own convenient car park costs a noticeable nightly fee.
